On the 31st of August 2004 the BBC1’s London Tonight program aired a special feature focusing on the ecological & social benefits of roof gardens & roof terraces to the capital as a whole. They interviewed Dusty Gedge who recently launched www.livingroofs.org which is the first independent (not for profit) green roof organization resource website. It is a site for green roof information and good practice. The footage features a prestigious penthouse roof garden on the roof of a major executive development overlooking The Thames at Vauxhall, London.
